Needlework & Design

Designing, cutting, and creating with fabric and flair

About This Program

What is Needlework & Design?

Needlework & Design teaches learners how to design, cut, and construct garments — combining creativity with hands-on textile skills.

Students work with patterns, fabrics, and sewing machines to take an idea from a concept sketch all the way to a finished, wearable piece.

This subject lays the foundation for careers in fashion design, textile manufacturing, tailoring, and creative entrepreneurship.
